Matt, Ivy and I went to the hospital to see little Reese. She has been off her Ecmo machine since this morning. They will proubly do her first surgery this afternoon. Please pray for them and check their blog ( you can click "the Kostjuk family" at the bottom of my page.) She is beautiful!
Hi Kel! As I went to sleep last night, my mind was still on Reese, so when I awoke, I checked your blog and there she was, and you with Ashley! How Great is our God! Streams of joy are rolling down my face in sheer amazement of our Savior's powerful demonstration of love and mercy! Thanks Kel, your faithful love and friendship to so many! I love you, terry
When Ivy fell down on the sidewalk, she got up and said, "I OK Daddy. My knee just hurts for a little while."
I said," Ivy, where are you?" She replied,"Here me are!"
Ivy calls lip gloss, "Hip Hops". She says, "Mom, can I have some hip hops on?"
When Ivy heard the song,"Open the Eyes of My Heart", when the chorus said,"Holy,Holy,Holy", she got excited because she thought they were singing,"Hollie,Hollie,Hollie". She got so excited that she had to call Aunt Hollie to tell her.
Every time she "toots", she says, "My bunnies burped."
Ivy was crying at the dinner table, through her tears she says, "Mom, are you happy?"
Kate and Lexie were singing "Mary had a Little Lamb". Ivy thought she was so cool and started to sing with them, however when I listened more closely, I heard her singing,"Mary had a Little MAN."
Ivy was "reading" me a story and at the end, instead of saying "the end" she said "A- men".
When Ivy was eating something that she didn't like she said, "Mom, it hurts my tongue."
Ivy was yelling for me in her bed at 6:45 in the morning. When I went in there I said,"What do you want?" She said, "Come in here and lay down so I can scratch your back!" SCORE!
Auntie Wendy asking,"Ivy, do you need to go poo poo on the potty?" Ivy," No. My bunnies (her buns) don't hurt."
When she wanted more ice cream from Matt's bowl. "Daddy, will you get my spoon wet?"
